In 1679, a baker called Brunero Antonio in Turin, Italy was tasked with creating bread that would be appropriate for the ill child of a monarch. This is when breadsticks were first created. Mr. Antonio perfected the thin, crispy breadsticks we know and love today via a long process of trial and error.

Our grissini torinesi (breadsticks prepared in the manner of Turin) are created using the same recipe that was used hundreds of years ago. Only the finest ingredients, such as fresh garlic cloves and extra virgin olive oil, are used in our preparations. Plain, sesame, garlic, rosemary, or pepato Breadsticks are delicious anytime.
