Description
Origin
Danish history is fascinating. Its fluffy pastry was accidental. Claudius Gele, a French pastry trainee, baked bread for his ailing father in 1645. He forgot the butter. In order to make amends for it, he included it, and after that, he folded it several times in order to incorporate the butter. He cooked the dough against the pastry chef’s advice, creating a light, flaky, and attractive dough used worldwide. Don’t we wish our cooking mishaps were this successful?
Ingredients
